In this thankful season, I spend time counting my blessings. It amazes me how many times you appear on the list! So thankful for you, my dear husband, and all the ways you bring joy to our life together. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is a time when we gather together with the ones we love to remember, with gratitude, all the good things in our lives. Often the best things in our lives turn out not to be things at all, but the people with whom we gather to celebrate. So thankful we’re family…so thankful for all the years we’ve had to celebrate together…and all the years to come.

In the center of the table, there’s a cornucopia, full to overflowing, of the season’s harvest. When I stop to consider our life together, I realize how overflowing with blessings it is too!

A recipe for a thankful heart: one cup of true love, two cups of kindness, three cups of grace, a teaspoon of patience and forgiveness, and just a pinch of zest for living. That’s the kind of thanksgiving meal we’re cooking in our lives together!

Thanksgiving is the perfect time to let you know how grateful I am for the wonderful husband you are. I’m grateful for all the times you tell me you love me, not just in words, but in the kind things you do. I’m grateful for all the ways you care for our family by working hard and faithfully. Most of all, I’m grateful for the many days we’ve had together and all the days yet to come.

How beautiful it is to go through life with someone hand in hand and heart to heart! Happy Thanksgiving to my precious husband, the best traveling partner a woman could ever ask for!

If thankfulness were a tree, it would have many leaves…leaves of different shapes, sizes and colors. As I contemplate the many leaves on my own tree of thankfulness, I realize how many of them are leaves that you and I have shared together. Thank you for being such a good husband and friend!

On Thanksgiving, we turn our hearts toward God in gratitude for all the blessings in this life. One of my greatest blessings is a husband who knows how to kneel with me in thanks, and who helps my heart remember the joy of thankfulness and praise.

We need more than one day a year to give thanks for the gifts of our lives. But I’m thankful we do set aside this one day to do just that. It gives me a chance to say thank you to God for giving me a loving husband like you.

At Thanksgiving, more than our plates are full — so are our hearts. I have a heart full of gratitude for the gift of a husband like you.

Researchers say that people who are actively grateful are also happier. With a husband like you, it’s no wonder that I’m both! This Thanksgiving, may you know how very much to mean to me.

Living through hard times doesn’t have to make us bitter. Sometimes it can make us all the more grateful for being able to walk through even the hard times together. Although this year hasn’t been easy, I am grateful for every step we’ve taken together and for the strength and joy we’ve found. Happy Thanksgiving to my wonderful husband!

Another Thanksgiving — another chance to say thank you to God for the marvelous man I married.
